Senior Mechanical Engineer
​
Ingeniare Building Services Consultancy are a team of Chartered Engineers with a client-focussed and pragmatic approach to engineering. Based in Blythe Valley Park in Solihull, Ingeniare provide services to a wide range of clients in various sectors throughout the UK.
Ingeniare team members have autonomy to make an impact within the ever-growing and developing organisation. Responsibilities

Take on the role of senior mechanical engineer and run projects from inception to handover
-
Engage directly with clients to establish the design brief, agree system philosophies/strategies and grow working relationships
-
Take full responsibility for the development and delivery of coordinated HVAC and public health design solutions through RIBA design stages 2 to 5
-
Manage and mentor junior and intermediate engineers who will work closely with you to successfully deliver our projects on time and to the brief

Engage with external project stakeholders such as architects, structural engineers and other specialists to integrate and coordinate mechanical engineering solutions
-
Champion low energy building design and renewable energy to reduce the impact of the built environment on the natural environment

Write specifications and technical reports
-
Undertake and manage detailed engineering calculations and provide clear and concise engineering markups for the CAD and BIM team to develop in the digital environment

Work closely with our BIM manager and modelling team to develop high quality and fully coordinated Revit models and drawings
-
Continually develop your knowledge and skills through formal training paid for by Ingeniare, attendance to seminars and self-development etc.
Requirements

Chartered Building Services Engineer or working towards chartership
-
A degree in building services engineering or working towards
-
5+ years of experience working in a design consultancy
-
Excellent written and verbal communication
-
Proficient in IES Virtual Environment or similar modelling software
